wake up, lets take a trip

HELLO THERE OUT OF SPACERS
Hope losing yr minds has gone well.
Here is yet another soundtrack to losing your head.
Find a comfy chair, take a few hits of LSD. Sit back. Turn up Bill Holt's experimental masterpiece DREAMIES and tryp out.

Bill Holt became wealthy and was inspired by the work of Bob Dylan/John Cage - So he took a year off and locked himself in his basement with a moog synth and a 4-track.
The result is what you are hearing.
ENJOY.

STAY ABOVE THE EARTHS ATMOSPHERE, IT'S NOT SAFE DOWN THERE!!!

messthetics

great compilation of U.K cassette culture. this makes me want to get every release put out by hyped.

the reason for my lack of posts is because of my own divulgence into the realm of so called 'messthetics'...

enjoy, and come back soon now ya'hear

ahem

lack of deets on this one because you should all really buy this album as well as anything else mr. steinbrink has for sale.
it seems to me that if you truly enjoy this songs you will be compelled to discover their titles!
if anyone objects to this post, please let me know & i will take it down immediately ..
it is just so good i feel like i need to share.

UPDATE:: as you can see the layout of the page has moved around a bit, mainly to show off the links that may have been hidden.
if you want to be added just leave a comment! or if any pages die and i do not notice, mentioning these types of things will always be welcomed warmly ..

Turf's Up!

Coming from the Southern Bay Area I had to buy this when I saw it.
THis and the fact that my compact disc collection was seriously lacking when it comes to surf.
I know, this and the previous post are the first non vinyl additions, so in this light it is a little sacreligious
There is a reason, however!
Although these bands obviously were around in the 60's they could not break the mold that surrounded them.
However enjoyable, they are by no means ground breaking.
Still a nice record to listen to ..
Some of my suggested trx include:
"Lanky Bones" and"(It's gonna) Work out fine" by PJ & The Galaxies,
"Work Out" by Journeymen

DOWNLOAD
There are 25 tracks so you can pick and choose your own favorites
I have barely listened to it maybe one time full through.

your new break battle soundtrack

Art Of Noise was a synth-pop band from the early 80's.
Produced by Trevor Horn (of "Video Killed The Radio star" fame)
This album has a total breakin' feel
it makes you want to cut up a cardboard box
just ask Carlton Banks to teach you all his moves

This is different from other posts, because you can probably find it somewhere else ...
Ultimately I just wanted to get something out there, and this reminds me of Aphex Twin
also the track : MOMENTS IN LOVE is spacious & beautiful

from an innocent man to a guilty world

Lately I have been feeling like i have been imprisoned .
After the heat dies down and the summer wares off I will be emancipated,
freedom dripping down my neck all the way down my prickly spine.

This record's harrowing truth will capture your interests, I am sure.
Another folkways great, and once more I think the music speaks for itself.
